Get to Know Dr. Bryan J. Baker
Born and raised in Portland, OR - Dr. Baker has been immersed in the world of dentistry for over a decade. What drives him most is the opportunity to restore smiles and transform lives. Whether it’s a subtle cosmetic enhancement or a complex case requiring a team-based approach - Dr. Baker loves connecting with patients and helping each person feel more confident about their smile. He’s deeply committed to improving quality of life through comprehensive dental care and collaborates with specialists to ensure the best outcomes.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Baker’s path to dentistry began during a medical mission trip as a teenager, where he was assigned to the dental team. It was there that he discovered his love for dentistry. After the trip, he took several years to study, work, and travel across the UK and Europe. In 2013, he returned to the U.S. and began his journey in dentistry, a field that continues to be rewarding and inspiring.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Baker earned his undergraduate degree from Oregon State University before going on to receive his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). He graduated top 10 in his class and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon: National Dental Honor Society. During his time at OHSU, he also held key leadership roles - including President of the Student Council and Vice President of the Delta Sigma Delta Professional Dental Fraternity.
Dr. Baker is passionate about lifelong learning and continually sharpens his skills through continuing education and active participation in local study clubs. Over the past 12+ years, Dr. Baker has been mentored by leading experts in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics (including Invisalign), and oral surgery.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When he’s not restoring smiles, Dr. Baker loves spending time with his wife, Tiffany, and their two young kids. Whether it’s sunny or raining (true to his Oregon roots), you’ll often find them exploring the coast, heading out on family adventures, and enjoying time with friends and family.
Dr. Baker’s hobbies include backpacking, traveling, guitar, home and yard projects, and staying active. He’s also a bit of a coffee connoisseur. During the five years he spent living abroad, he studied art and music, completed an Ironman Triathlon, and worked a variety of creative jobs - including playing music and working as a photographer for a Scottish newspaper!
